Nicola Bennett
I’ve been a personal trainer for 11 years, as well as an army reservist for 5 years (one of the first females to pass out of the infantry). I have a passion for mountain biking and have raced at national level for 3 years.
I have in competed in powerlifting at national and international level for 3 years also.
My vision for Fortis is for it to be an inclusive gym regardless of goals, to help people at the start of their journey, to help them get back from injury or illness and to excel mentally and physically through exercise.

Peter Pinner
Although very active as a teen, he struggled with his weight for decades before deciding to tackle the issue head on in 2018. Since then, he has been on a journey not only of huge weight loss and health gains, but also getting his life and freedom back, while enjoying new hobbies.
Peter's journey has enabled him to have empathy and understanding to the struggles and hurdles of changing your lifestyle habits and taking on a new challenge. His passion to help others overcome these challenges and achieve their goals is a huge motivator for him, to help others believe they can achieve.
He has joined forces with Nicola to create a friendly and supportive centre of weight loss in the area to help people in this position.

Nikita Baker BSc, VTCT, PGCE
I graduated in BSc Hons Rehabilitation in Sport and Exercise in 2017 with a 2:1 from Marjon University. I then established my own Sports Therapy business NBaker Therapies in 2018, of whichmy day-to-day work was to consult, treat and rehabilitate numerous clients with a variety of injuries. Further to this, I have also worked at a variety of sporting events such as GB Ultra Marathons, endurance mountain bike competition, military sporting and well-being events.
During my degree I had a passion for biomechanics and wanted to investigate this further which is where I started to focus on running gait and movement analysis. Having a background in running, through the form of family of runners and various running events I have an understanding on different benefits to running. There is an underlying importance of having the correct running technique which can lead to achieving those PBs whilst helping reduce the injury rate. I have launched my running gait and movement analysis packages to help runners improve their technique and see their development progress. Working on a one-to-one basis to deliver tailored training to that individual's needs, direction, ability and goals in mind.
